The Rivers State Governorship Elections Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja has refused to grant another relief sought by counsel to Governor NYESOM WIKE.
The legal representative to the Rivers State Governor had asked the permission of the tribunal to file a motion challenging the competence of the pre-hearing application brought by the All Progressives Congress and its governorship candidate, DAKUKU PETERSIDE.


The Rivers State Governorship Elections Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja has refused to grant another relief sought by counsel to Governor NYESOM WIKE.
The legal representative to the Rivers State Governor had asked the permission of the tribunal to file a motion challenging the competence of the pre-hearing application brought by the All Progressives Congress and its governorship candidate, DAKUKU PETERSIDE.
The PDP’s counsel said the motion is intended to shake the foundation of the petition brought by the APC and its candidate.
On his part; OKEY WALI who is counsel to Governor NYESON WIKE also shared his thought on what happened in court during an interview with our correspondent.
Meanwhile; the Tribunal has reserved the date for pretrial hearing next week, which it said would be communicated to all parties.
