The Deputy Governor, Doctor IPALIBO HARRY-BANIGO who made the case for farming, is of the opinion that it would ensure an all-round basic development of pupils and students.
Doctor HARRY BANIGO said the PDP Administration led by Governor NYESOM WIKE was committed to the development of education and would ensure that the sector gets adequate budgetary allocation.
BANIGO urged students to embrace hard work and creativity in their pursuit of educational excellence, while warning against engaging in cultism which she identified as the foundation of problems facing the country.
The Deputy Governor was addressing an audience at the Government Girls Secondary School, Orominieke where she also bagged an excellence award.
