The State Commissioner of Police, CHRIS EZIKE made the pledge when he received the South-South Zonal Coordinator of the National Human Rights Commission, LILLY DOKUBO, on a courtesy visit to his office at the Command Headquarters in Port Harcourt.

C.P. EZIKE promised to partner with the Rights Commission, adding that it was no longer acceptable for police officer to act with impunity or infringe on the rights of citizens.
The Police Commissioner was responding to the remarks by LILLY DOKUBO who declared the intention of the National Rights Commission to partner with the Police Command on periodic training of officers and men of the Command on human rights.
The outcome of the meeting was captured in a statement released by the Police Public Relations Officer of the Rivers State Command, AHMAD MUHAMMAD.
