American Hospital Dubai has announced its plans to open a representative office in Abuja, Nigeria, in December 2024. This move is part of the hospital's strategy to increase its presence in Nigeria and provide easier access to advanced medical care for Nigerian patients.

The news comes on the heels of the successful launch of the hospital's first Nigerian office in Lagos on August 19, 2024. The Lagos office was officially commissioned by the UAE Consulate General in Nigeria, Dr. Abdullah Al-Mandoos, alongside the Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, who represented Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

According to Prince Tonye Princewill, Board Member of American Hospital Dubai Nigeria Limited, the hospital plans to expand its services in Nigeria with additional representative offices. "We want to ensure that our services are more accessible to Nigerian patients," Princewill said. "The Abuja office will serve as another healthcare 'embassy', bridging the gap between enquiries and travel to the American Hospital Dubai for medical treatment."

The Abuja office will provide a range of services to Nigerian patients, including visa assistance, flight bookings, and accommodation arrangements. The hospital's expansion into Abuja is expected to increase its visibility and reach in the country, providing a wider range of medical services to patients.

The opening of the Abuja office is also seen as a major step forward in American Hospital Dubai's commitment to investing in Nigeria's healthcare sector. The hospital has also announced plans for a state-of-the-art diagnostic center in Nigeria, which will further enhance its capabilities and provide high-quality healthcare services to Nigerian patients.

With the opening of the Abuja office, American Hospital Dubai is poised to become a major player in the Nigerian healthcare sector, offering patients access to world-class medical care and facilities.
