A stakeholder in Rivers State, Lordcee Nwosu, has called on Governor Siminalayi Fubara to appoint trustworthy politicians who will protect his administration now and in future elections.

Nwosu, associated with the Rivers Progressive Agenda, emphasized the importance of selecting politicians with proven track records across local government areas, rather than solely relying on the Simplified Movement.

He also stressed the necessity for the governor and his administration to appeal the recent Court of Appeal judgment involving Martin Amaewhule, describing the ruling as baseless.

Commenting on the employment issues at Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Nwosu urged the governor to pay those who were laid off after eight or nine months of service and to reemploy them based on merit.

Nwosu further advised Governor Fubara to dismiss all appointees of the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) who were appointed by the previous governor, expressing concerns that they may not act in the best interest of all.
