Ogoni SIM movement see hope for Ogoni in Fubara Administration

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara says there is hope for the Ogoni people in his administration. 

Governor Fubara gave the assurance at a thanksgiving rally organized in his honor by SIMplified Movement in Bori in Khana Local Government Area of the state. 

The governor who was represented by member representing Andoni/Opobo/Nkoro Federal Constituency, Awaji-Inombek Abiante revealed that he has identified Bori as an emerging city in the state, in his quest to create more cities outside of Port Harcourt. 

Abiante stated that the governor has demonstrated his sincerity to the people by promoting civil servants, gifting workers, and his developmental strives amongst other things. 

On their parts, Professor Don Baridam who was the Chairman of the occasion and Ambassador Marvin Yobana of Ogoni Sim Vanguard expressed optimism that Governor Fubara’s administration will bring about justice and fairness to the yearnings of the Ogoni people. 

Also speaking, the state Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Sydney Gbara apologized to Governor Fubara to forgive some Ogoni sons who despite voting for them, have turned against the governor.
