Police release image for suspected killer of DPO
The Rivers State Police Command has released the picture of Gift Okpara-Okpolowu, the suspected leader of the cult gang that murdered the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Ahoada Police Division, Bako Angbashim.
The Command Public Relations Officer, Grace Iringe-Koko, who published the image in a statement, said the move followed statements from the Inspector General of the Police, Kayode Egbetokun and the Rivers State governor, Siminalayi Fubara, declaring Gift Okpara-Okpolowu and members of his gang wanted.
SP Iringe-Koko, in the statement, indicated that the prime suspect, who is also known as 2-BABA, has been charged with conspiracy, cultism, and the murder of Bako Angbashim.
The statement asked members of the public with information about the whereabouts of the gangsters to report to the State Criminal Investigation Department to claim the reward promised by the Rivers State governor.
