I Won't Disappoint You, Tinubu Assures Nigerians
The President-elect Bola Tinubu says he will not disappoint the trust conferred on him by President Muhammadu Buhari and Nigerians.
Tinubu also affirmed that he understands the magnitude of the honour conferred upon him and the corresponding task ahead.
The president elect made the promise in his acceptance speech after he was conferred with the National Honour of Grand Commander of the Federal Republic, at the State House Banquet Hall in Abuja.
The conferment makes Tinubu the 16th person to hold the GCFR Honour.
President Buhari also conferred vice president-elect Kashim Shettima with the honour of Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger.
