The Labour Party in Rivers State says it has uncovered a plot to rig the State and National Assembly re-run elections in Ikwere and Emohua Federal Constituency.State Chairman of the Party, FELIX FAVOUR made the allegation while addressing newsmen in Elele town in Ikwere Local Government Area.
FAVOUR said his Party will reject every move by anybody to scuttle the process of the re-run election, adding that the will of the People must be allowed to prevail.You will recall that Rivers State Governor NYESOM WIKE has on Tuesday also alleged that there was plan to use the re-run elections to get power through the back door.Meanwhile, Labour Party Candidate for Ikwere/Emohua federal Constituency Chief ISAAC WONWU has commended the Independent National Electoral Commission for shifting the date for the State and National Assembly re-run elections.
