NiDCOM boss speaks on Nigerians killed in Italy, Canada
The Chairperson of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa says efforts are being made to ensure that the murder of a physically challenged Nigerian,Ogorchukwu Alika is not swept under the carpet.
Dabiri-Erewa who disclosed this on a television programme, said the case must be tried to a logical conclusion.
She also said although the Italian police has said the crime has nothing to do with race, Alika’s lawyer is on the matter and will ensure that justice is served.
Dabiri-Erewa further explained that the Italian police were working and cooperating with the Nigerian mission in Italy to ensure justice was done.
Recall that Alika was murdered by an unnamed attacker in Italy on July 30.
