Fedreal fire services threatens blacklist over harassment in Rivers
Federal fire service in Rivers State have threatened to blacklist some section of the state over harassment by its residents.
Deputy fire superintendent and the head of operations Abbas Reagan who led the team that was attacked yesterday in Nembe-Bille waterside in an interview with Todayfm's Sandra Kenneth expressed displeasure that some people in the state often blame them over their response to emergency.
He however noted their reason for delay as he reminded Rivers people of the ongoing road construction in the state stressing that movement have become slow as a result.
He further advised Rivers people to avoid keeping flammable things in their homes adding that it could cause fire especially during the dry season.
Abbas also disclosed that they have commenced investigation into the cause of fire outbreak in the state as he said everyone found guilty of any crime that has destroyed buildings in the state will be dealt with.
