South Africa urges Interpol to arrest the Guptas

South Africa has urge Interpol to help arrest some members of the Gupta family who have been linked to corruption allegations during the presidency of Jacob Zuma.

 They are wanted in connection with a procurement fraud scheme amounting to one point eight million dollars involving the diversion of money earmarked for rural development.


Those allegations were at the centre of a scandal known in South Africa as "state capture.

 The Gupta family members who reportedly living in the United Arab Emirates, have repeatedly denied wrongdoing.
