South African Olympian OSCAR PISTORIUS has regained freedom temporarily. PISTORIUS was granted bail today while awaiting his sentencing for murder over the killing of his girlfriend REEVA STEENKAMP in 2013.

South African Olympian OSCAR PISTORIUS has regained freedom temporarily. PISTORIUS was granted bail today while awaiting his sentencing for murder over the killing of his girlfriend REEVA STEENKAMP in 2013. Judge AUDREY LEDWABA set PISTORIUS bail at seven hundred dollars. You will recall that the Olympian was initially convicted for involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to five years imprisonment. He had put in about a year in prison and was released to house arrest before an appeals court reversed his conviction to murder last week. PISTORIUS now faces a minimum of fifteen-year jail sentence on 18th of April next year. Meanwhile; the lawyer to the athlete has also revealed his intention to appeal against his murder conviction in the Constitutional Court.
