Diobu Vigilante lament attack on member by Port Harcourt ward 17 councillor

Members of the Diobu Vigilante group have been reacting to an attack on their member identified as Chief Isaac Ohaukwu by the councilor representing ward 17 in Port Harcourt City Local Government Area of the state, Chigozie Woka.

The Commander of the Diobu vigilante, Prince Amatari in a statement called on the police to ensure adequate investigation and prosecution of those behind the attack.


Amatari declared that Chief Ohaukwu is not just a member of Diobu vigilante security service but also one of the pioneering patrons of the Security outfit.


The vigilante leader further expressed believe that the narrative about crime and criminality can be changed if the security agencies can stand against political influence and act accordingly.


The statement encouraged the Rivers State Police Command to bring to book those involved in the attack of their member which it said will serve as a deterrence to others.
