The All Progressives Congress in Rivers State has unveiled plans to set up a special fund to support victims of political violence in the state. The APC governorship candidate, DAKUKU PETERSIDE, dropped this hint in an interview with our correspondent JAMES IGAH in Abuja. PETERSIDE assured all victims of political violence in Rivers state during the last general elections that the party would continue to pursue justice on their behalf.

PETERSIDE assured all victims of political violence in Rivers state during the last general elections that the party would continue to pursue justice on their behalf. 
Meanwhile; the governorship candidate of the APC in Rivers State has condemned the move by Governor NYESOM WIKE to recall Rivers students on overseas scholarship. PETERSIDE, who spoke in an interview with our correspondent in Abuja, said there was no reason why Governor WIKE should suspend the foreign scholarship programme. He advised the governor to reconsider the decision, stressing that it was coming at a time when other states were investing heavily in education. That was DAKUKU PETERSIDE; the APC governorship candidate in Rivers State.
