The apex socio-political organ of all Igbo-speaking people in Nigeria has resolved to call on President MUHAMMADU BUHARI to release the embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, NNAMDI KANU, unconditionally. The decision was adopted at a meeting of the Ime-Obi – which is the highest decision-making organ of the Ohaneze Ndigbo.

The apex socio-political organ of all Igbo-speaking people in Nigeria has resolved to call on President MUHAMMADU BUHARI to release the embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, NNAMDI KANU, unconditionally. The decision was adopted at a meeting of the Ime-Obi – which is the highest decision-making organ of the Ohaneze Ndigbo.
The President General of Aka Ikenga, Chief GODDY UWAZURIKE confirmed the development in a telephone interview with our correspondent. Chief UWAZURIKE is of the view that the release of NNAMDI KANU is the crucial first step towards resolving the pro-Biafra agitation.
Meanwhile; our correspondent reports that the Port Harcourt-Owerri Road is experiencing a face-lift in a bid to end the suffering of road users plying the route.
