North and South Korean officials are holding a rare meeting at the truce village of Panmunjom in the demilitarized zone. The contact between both Korean nations is taking place after a military standoff in August, following a blast that injured two South Korean soldiers around the border area. The meeting is not intended to deal with any major issues, but meant to keep the channel of communication open, and eventually leading to very high level talks.
