BOLANTA made the call during a visit to the leadership of the Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers in his ongoing familiarization tour of states within the jurisdiction of the Zone Six Police Command.

BOLANTA made the call during a visit to the leadership of the Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers in his ongoing familiarization tour of states within the jurisdiction of the Zone Six Police Command.The Police Chief said the position of traditional rulers makes it important for them to assist security agencies in confronting armed robbers and kidnappers operating from various communities. Correspondent UCHENDU EJIOWHOR reports that the AIG BABA BOLANTA later visited the Rivers State Police Command headquarter, where he charged police personnel to redouble their efforts in anti-crime operations. In his responses, the State Commissioner of Police, MUSA KIMO assured that with the support of stakeholders, Rivers State would become a crime-free state. The AIG Zone Six also revealed that Police Special Squard are to be deployed with the compliments of helicopters and Armoured Personnel Carriers for the festive season.
