The Labour Party says the neutrality of federal government agencies in the Edo state governorship election was responsible for the peaceful conduct of the election.

The party’s National Vice Chairman; South-South Felix Reuben made the assertion in an interview with our correspondent Chinedu Iwunna.

Reuben said the people had perceived that the poll was going on smoothly without any interference from the Federal Government and decided to remain peaceful.

The Labour Party chieftain also commended the Independent National Electoral Commission for conducting what he described as the freest election in recent times.
