The prosecution of individuals who have corruptly enriched themselves by stealing from the Federal Treasury is set to kick off any moment from now. This indication emerged from a meeting between President MUHAMMADU BUHARI and members of the National Peace Committee for the 2015 General Election headed by former Head of State, General ABDULSALAMI ABUBAKAR.
This report from Burundi says several people have been arrested over the assassination of an army general that helped to quell the recent coup attempt against President PIERRE NKURUNZIZA.
