NDLEA Arrests Lagos Pastor Over Alleged Drug Trafficking from Ghana

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested the founder and general overseer of a church in Lagos State, Adefolusho Olasele, also known as Abbas Ajakaiye, for his alleged involvement in multiple shipments of illicit drugs from Ghana to Nigeria.

NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi, disclosed in a statement that Olasele had been on the run for months before being apprehended at his church in the Okun Ajah area of Lekki, Lagos. Operatives reportedly waited until the end of the Sunday service before arresting him as he exited the premises.

Babafemi said the suspect fled to Ghana in June to evade arrest after being linked to two separate cannabis seizures.
