This is because the parties involved seem not to be on the same page on the reconciliation move initiated by a former State Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress, SAM JAJA.
The former NLC leader last week met with the two sides involved in the matter, which include the one led by the current State Chairman of NLC BEATRICE ITUBO and that of REUBEN WECHIONWU, were some resolution were reached.
ITUBO said part of the resolutions was that the aggrieved parties would withdraw their litigations from the National Industrial Courts in Imo and Bayelsa States.
She said members of the Primary Healthcare Sector were also asked to conduct their election to allow them to become incorporated into the Union.
However; the Secretary of the Primary Healthcare Union, GOERGE KAISERYE said his group is not in support of the peace move.
KAISERYE said former Chairman REUBEN WECHIONWU was not given the mandate to lead the reconciliation move for his members.
On his part; one of the litigants in the suit before the National Industrial Court in Yenagoa, ALEBO TUBO-TAMUNO said only two of nine litigants cannot decide to withdraw the case from the court.
Our correspondent CHINEDU IWUNNA reports that the crisis in the Medical and Health Sector Union began when the members of the Primary Healthcare Workers were not allowed to participate in the NLC election which brought in BEATRICE ITUBO as the Chairman.
