Lewis-Skelly Set To Sign New Arsenal Contract Amid Madrid Interest

Myles Lewis-Skelly is attracting interest from Real Madrid after enjoying a stunning breakthrough season at Arsenal.

The 18-year-old made 39 appearances across all competitions for Mikel Arteta‘s side in the 2024-25 campaign, having previously not played a single minute for the first team.

The left-back is currently away with the England national team after making his senior debut in March, where he scored in a 2-0 victory over Albania.

The Sun reported on 2 June Arsenal are confident Lewis-Skelly will sign a new long-term deal to remain at the Emirates this summer.

The Gunners are vulnerable to losing the teenager if they don’t quickly resolve his future, with his contract set to expire in June 2026.

Finance expert Stefan Borson exclusively told Football Insider Lewis-Skelly will sign a new deal at the Emirates as there is no way Arsenal are going to let him leave following his rise into the first team.

Real Madrid are believed to be interested in signing Lewis-Skelly once his current deal expires in north London.

The Spanish giants have signed Trent Alexander-Arnold this summer after he allowed his contract to run down at Anfield.

Borson insisted Lewis-Skelly’s situation is similar to Bukayo Saka’s at Arsenal after he’s been repeatedly linked with a move away from the Emirates in recent years.
