Lagos High Court Fix Friday for Arraignment of Suspected Kidnapping Kingpin Evans

EVANS and three others are to be arraigned on fresh charges of conspiracy and attempted kidnap by the Lagos State government.
The court adjourned after the defence counsel, OLUKOYA OGUNGBEJE, told Justice OLORUNTOYIN TAIWO that he had filed an application seeking to quash the charges against his client.
The charges include alleged conspiracy and attempted kidnap of the Chairman of “The Young Shall Grow Motors”, VINCENT AMAECHI OBIANODO.
Two of the seven-count charges relate to the murder of a policemen attached to OBIANODO while four other counts relate to conspiracy to kidnap one SYLVANUS HAFIA.
Meanwhile; a Federal High Court in Lagos State has awarded two million naira to one OKWUCHUKWU OBIECHINA; the brother-in-law of the suspected kidnapping kingpin who accused the police of illegal detention.
