Opposition presidential candidate RAILA ODINGA alleged that the IT system of the electoral commission has been hacked to manipulate the election results.
ODINGA’s claim was made against the backdrop of early results from Tuesday’s election showing a strong lead by President UHURU KENYATTA.
ODINGA told journalists that the details were fake because the authorities had failed to present documents to verify the results.
Based on the development; there is growing fear across Kenya of a repeat of the violence that greeted the disputed 2007 election.
The post-election violence ten years ago claimed the life of one thousand, one hundred Kenyans and displaced more than six hundred thousand citizens.
