The Professor Kelsey Harrison Hospital commenced operation yesterday after it was abandoned for eight years.
Addressing newsmen at the hospital, the Chief Medical Director of the Hospital Management Board, Doctor Bright Ogbonda commended Governor Siminalayi Fubara for his commitment to ensuring access to health care in the state.
Doctor Bright called on residents to take advantage of the facility.
Some patients who were at the hospital on the first day of operation, commended the state government for making health care access easy for residents.
