Justice Binta Nyako Leads Three Other Judges to Prosecute Over One Thousand Six Hundred Suspected Boko Haram Terrorists

The Deputy Commander of Giwa Project at the Cantonment, Major E.B. TOTOH said the suspected terrorists include eleven adult female, twenty-six underage male, and one underage female.
The head of the judicial team for the trial, Justice BINTA NYAKO has assured that the judges were ready to hear the cases and to ensure quick dispensation of justice.
These revelations were contained in a statement released by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, SALIHU OTHMAN ISAH.
He said prosecutors from the Federal Ministry of Justice and defence lawyers from the Legal Aid Council are also involved in the handling of the cases.
However; Justice NYAKO requested the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation to invite the National Human Rights Commission to witness the proceedings.
She also disclosed that all four judges assigned to the Boko Haram cases have no other job except to try the suspected terrorists they have been allocated.
