JAMB Sets 150 as Cut-off Mark for 2025 University Admissions

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced 150 as the minimum cut-off mark for admission into Nigerian universities for the 2025 academic session.

The decision was reached on Tuesday during the 2025 Policy Meeting on Admissions, held at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja.

According to JAMB, the cut-off mark for colleges offering nursing programmes has been set at 140, while colleges of agriculture and colleges of education will admit candidates with a minimum score of 100.

The Board emphasized that institutions are free to set higher cut-off marks, but must not go below the approved national minimum.
