The sit-at-home order, purported to have come from IPOB, with the hashtag FREENNAMDIKANU, is aimed at forcing the Federal Government to release Nnamdi Kanu, who has been in the custody of the Department of State Services.

The audio message claimed that there will be dire consequences for anyone who ventures out on the said dates.

But the media and publicity secretary of IPOB, Emma Powerful, said people in the South-East should ignore the audio message, adding that it did not come from his group.
