Our correspondent VICTOR EZEAMA reports that yesterday’s outing featured a presentation by the General Officer Commanding Six Division of the Nigerian Army, Major-General ENOBONG UDO.
In his submission, Major-General UDO wondered why Nigerians refuse to appreciate efforts by the military despite the sacrifices by officers and men to maintain peace in the country.
The General Officer Commanding Six Division told the panel to expect many spurious allegations against the Army, especially from the Niger Delta region.
He said many critics of the military have taken to posting malicious pictures and videos on social media to the detriment of the armed forces.
Our correspondent reports that the nine-man panel headed by Justice BIOBELE GEORGEWILL of the Court of Appeal also entertained submissions by some petitioners.
