The Resident Electoral Commissioner, ANIEDI IKOIWAK made the declaration during a political stakeholders meeting at INEC Secretariat on Aba Road in Port Harcourt.
IKOIWAK said the decision by INEC was final, adding that any political party or candidate that was not comfortable with the resolution should seek redress in court.
Our correspondent LEVI ISU who monitored proceedings at the meeting, reports that the INEC decision on the Tai rerun did not go down well with leaders of the PDP.
The PDP candidate for Rivers South-East Senatorial District, OLAKA WOGU, led the shouting session at the political stakeholders meeting at INEC office in Port Harcourt.
OLAKA WOGU questioned why INEC would turn around and declare results where it had previously suspended elections.
