Indigenous coy inaugurates revolutionary AI-powered kitchen app to optimise cooking gas usage

An indigenous organisation, Kike Technologies has inaugurated a revolutionary Artificial Intelligence-based kitchen application known as Kike AI, designed to transform Nigeria’s food and gas industries.

The Chief Executive Officer, Kike Technologies, Mr Femi Oye, highlighted the app’s potential to optimise gas supply at a virtual press conference in Lagos on Tuesday.

Oye said that the app would enhance consumer convenience and foster significant economic opportunities such as creating a million jobs nationwide.

According to him, Kike AI addresses a common household issue, which is unexpected cooking gas depletion.

Oye said: “Using advanced algorithms and data analytics, this app can forecast when a user’s gas cylinder is running low, enabling them to order refills ahead of time.

“The application, which is meant for both commercial and domestic usage, is expected to generate numerous job opportunities, particularly within the delivery, logistics, gas retail and food sectors.

“We anticipate significant job growth as the app gains traction, positively impacting gas stations and food businesses.

“This app represents a mutually beneficial solution, fostering economic development and creating essential employment.

“As Kike AI prepares for its nationwide inauguration, the company is emphasising the significant job creation potential and transformative impact it will have on the food and gas industries’’, he said.

According to Oye, the job creation potential of Kike AI is diverse, as a considerable number of positions will arise in delivery and logistics, as the app streamlines gas refill deliveries.

He noted that this technology unlocked numerous opportunities by delivering value in an effective, efficient, secure, and safe manner.

He said that the innovative app aimed at transforming the food and gas industries, fostering a mutually beneficial scenario that stimulated economic growth and generated essential employment opportunities.

Oye called on food and gas sector businesses to prepare for this significant transformation, promising enhanced efficiency and a wave of new employment opportunities.

He emphasised that the Kike AI functioned as more than just an app, adding that it also offered a digital marketing platform.

According to him, Kike AI facilitates a digital marketplace that connects gas stations with an expanded customer base and supports online transactions,” Oye explained.

The chief executive said that the app’s predictive capabilities would empower gas stations to anticipate customer demand, enabling them to optimise their inventory and reduce stock shortages.

“Users can quickly find nearby stations, compare prices, and set up deliveries, thereby fostering customer loyalty,” he explained.

Oye noted that Kike Technologies was promoting its AI-driven platform as a crucial tool for managing gas consumption and enhancing food safety in Nigerian kitchens.

He emphasised the platform’s ability to provide real-time insights, customer feedback and quality metrics, essential for both commercial and domestic users.

Oye explained: “In today’s economic climate, efficient gas usage is no longer a luxury, but a necessity.

“Kike AI leverages artificial intelligence to optimise gas supplies, streamline inventory management, minimise waste, and improve delivery logistics.

“It also addresses food safety concerns by integrating with hygiene practices and regulatory compliance.”

Meanwhile, Mrs. Titi Oshodi, the Special Advisor to the Lagos State Governor on Climate Change and Circular Economy, commended Kike Technologies for its innovative approach to addressing gas consumption and food safety.

“This technology has the potential to transform the food and gas industries indeed, creating jobs and stimulating economic growth,” Oshodi said.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Kike Technologies is part of SMEFUNDS, a social capital corporation dedicated to investing in ethical and green enterprises.

SMEFUNDS focuses on supporting households at the Bottom of the Pyramid (BoP) and addressing global challenges like poverty, climate change and energy efficiency.

The company aims to reach 100 million Nigerian families with technological innovations within the next five years.

The mission is to lay the foundation for a poverty-free world by providing access to innovative technology that improves livelihoods and promotes sustainable development.
