Oha Chidi-Awuse spoke when the national leadership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, ICAN paid him a visit at his country home in Rumuche Emohua, where he highlighted the role of accountants in structuring the activities of government and private organization.
The traditional leader encouraged members of ICAN to be committed in carrying out their professional duties, and assured his commitment in ensuring the growth of the professional body.
Earlier in his address, the National President of ICAN, Innocent Iweka commended Oha Chidi-Awuse for his intervention in ensuring that the institute gains recognition from the state government.
Today FM’s Uchendu Ejiowhor reports that the Emohua Council Chairman and traditional leaders conferred a Chieftaincy title on the National President of ICAN.
