Reports from the commercial capital in Abidjan indicate that people have been forced to evacuate their homes due to flooding.
The stormy weather has swept away a bridge on the road to Brofodoumé, which is located about fifteen kilometers north of Abidjan.
At least seven people also died last month when a wall collapsed due to the heavy rains.
