The African National Coordinator of the Organization, Douglas Fabeke, made the threat while addressing newsmen at the Port Harcourt International Airport, Omagwa, over the weekend.
Fabeke expressing concern over statements made by the Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, which according to him, intensifies the political atmosphere in the state.
He appealed to President Bola Tinubu to intervene and advise the FCT Minister to prevent a potential breakdown of law and order in Rivers State, expressing worry that the current political tension may deter potential investors.
Fabeke criticized the activities of twenty-seven State Lawmakers whom he accused of attempting to undermine Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s administration by passing several anti-people bills, and warned that if the attacks on the governor persist, the organization would take necessary actions that could affect the politicians involved in the crisis for the next ten years.
