The first victim of the order, which is based on State Anti-Kidnapping and Cultism Law, is a suspected criminal identified as MUNACHIM IHUNWO at Rumuolumini community in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area.
Governor WIKE personally led some security operatives to supervise the demolition of the home of MUNACHIM IHUNWO, who is alleged to be a notorious cultist and kidnapping kingpin.
The governor stated that his administration has zero tolerance for cultism and kidnapping; adding that any suspect arrested will face the full weight of the law.
Governor WIKE also repeated his offer of amnesty to cultists and kidnappers who submit their arms to the state security agencies and commit themselves to honest living.
Briefing the Governor on the operation leading to the capture of the suspected criminal, Lieutenant Colonel AC UNAOGU alleged that MUNACHIM IHUNWO runs a gang of two hundred armed criminals.
Our correspondent gathered that three Police officers were killed early hours of yesterday during the demolition of the building popularly called Eagle Cement at Rumuorlumeni.
