Governor WIKE said this at the dedication and Thanksgiving Service for the 50th Anniversary year Celebration of the State held at the Siant Paul’s Anglican Church Diobu in Port Harcourt.
He called for reconciliation among the political class in the interest of the development of the state.
Earlier in his sermon, the Archbishop of Niger Delta Province, IGNATIUS KATTEY noted that there is need for Rivers people to celebrate at fifty.
Our correspondent reports that dignitaries including the First Military Governor of the State, ALFRED DIETTE SPIFF, PETER ODILI and CELESTINE OMEHIA as well as other government functionaries attended the event.
