This is after the Supreme Court of Nigeria dismissed appeal brought before it by Farah Dagogo, with claims to be the gubernatorial candidate.
Governor Wike who spoke at Ogu Mini Stadium during the Rivers State PDP campaign rally inOgu/Bolo Local Government Area, maintained that there is no disputation over the candidature of Fubara as the PDP candidate for Rivers State.
The governor said the explanation became necessary following concerns by some party members over rumours that there was a plot to replace Fubara as the candidate of PDP in Rivers State.
He also wondered the basis of the claim by the national chairman of the PDP, Iyorchia Ayu,who claimed that they are reaching out to the G-5 governors.
Governor Wike further announced that he has reapproved Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium for the PDP presidential campaign to hold its rally on February 11, 2023.
