Governor Fubara who spoke at the flag-off of the internal road project in Elelenwo community of ObioAkpor Local Government Area, said it is in keeping with his campaign promises to consolidate on the existing pace of development.
He explained that it was to expand the scope of development that his administration approached the State House of Assembly to secure approval for an additional two hundred billion naira to add to the 2023 budget of five hundred billion naira of the State.
The approval, he said had enabled his administration to begin the construction of the Port Harcourt Dual Carriage Ring Road project.
He also assured that his administration will continue to implement more projects that will benefit not only Rivers people but every resident contributing to economic activities of the State.
Governor Fubara urged residents in Elelenwo community to embrace peace and love in unity while cooperating with his administration in its effort to tackle issues of insecurity in the area.
