Amnesty International says CAR’s biggest traders have been buying diamonds without properly checking their origins; while armed groups on both sides of the conflict have been profiting from the diamond trade.
Meanwhile; the fighting between Christian and Muslim groups has left at least thirty eight people dead and forced more than ten thousand others to abandon their homes.
