Sixteen days after the gun attack around his home at Aluu community in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State, nothing has been said about the progress of investigation.
Following this development; some student leaders in Rivers State are reminding the authorities about the need to ensure that the assassination of KEN ATSUWETE does not go the way of other high profile killings in the past.
The call was made by HOPE LEGBARA; who is the Speaker of the University of Port Harcourt chapter of the National Union of Rivers State Students, NURSS.
Meanwhile; the Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the investigation of the assassination of KEN ATSUWETE is still in progress.
The Police Public Relations Officer, NNAMDI OMONI said the investigation is being conducted in a discrete manner because of the high-profile nature on the incident.
However; the Police spokesman said details of the findings would be made known to the public at the end of the day.
