The immediate past chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, Chijioke Ihunwo, has distanced himself from the ownership of the disputed land.
He stated that he has no business or interest whatsoever in the land and described allegations linking him to the dispute as false. Ihunwo further alleged that one of the accusers is of questionable character.
