The FIFA clarification was made against the backdrop of the recent detention of the president of the FA in the West African country.
ISHA JOHANSEN was questioned by Sierra Leone’s Anti-Corruption Commission earlier this month over the issue.
But in a letter to Sierra Leone FA, FIFA said it has no reason to suspect there has been misuse of funds that it provided to the SLFA.
The governing body warned local authorities against interfering in the business of the Football Association.
