The Federal Government has announced new measures to address persistent flooding along the Lagos corridor of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway.
Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, disclosed this during a stakeholder engagement in Lagos, saying the Federal Ministry of Works, in collaboration with the Lagos State Government, will construct service lanes with integrated drainage systems along the corridor.
Umahi explained that the project is part of a long-term strategy to mitigate flooding caused by heavy rainfall and improve infrastructure resilience along the coastal highway.
