FG set to rescue Chibok girls

The Minister of Information, LAI MOHAMMED, gave the indication about the new attempt to rescue the Chibok girls who were abducted two years ago.

The Minister said that previous efforts to rescue the girls were frustrated by infighting among the Boko Haram terrorists and middle men, who according to him exploited the process for financial gains.

Since the abduction of the girls, pressure has been mounted on the Federal Government to rescue them, including demands for a swap with members of Boko Haram in detention.

You will recall that the terrorist group recently, released a video of the girls still in their custody and requested for prisoners swap which was supported by the parents of the girls.
