The Federal Government has approved the rerouting of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway to pass through Ogoniland in honour of late Senator Mpigi Barinada Barry.
Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, announced this at a Night of Tribute in Abuja, describing the late senator’s death as a profound loss to the nation. He noted that Mpigi’s legacy includes contributions to national development and infrastructure.
