Minister of Power, Works and Housing, BABATUNDE FASHOLA gave the assurance while briefing newsmen during an inspection of the Bodo-Bonny road.
FASHOLA said the contract initially awarded to Gitto was abandoned due to lack of funding.
He commended Senator representing Rivers South-East district, Senator MAGNUS ABE for drawing the attention of the Federal government to the project.
BABTUNDE FASHOLA said the project will be concluded with joint efforts by the Federal government, the Rivers state Government and NLNG.
