Ifé releases new single "Zelu" as she prepares for debut album

Afro soul singer Ifé has called on the government to provide enabling environment and a system that protects so young musicians can thrive in the country.

She believes with this many young musicians will continue to represent Nigeria positively around the globe.

Ifé says her new single titled “Zelu” which makes its debut today is metaphorically telling people who derive joy in troubling others to avoid her, that she’s tired of being silent and could make it rain in summer time.

Ifé graduate of Music and Preforming Arts from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka. Centers her music and sound on African culture, heritage and advocacy for the girl child, is gearing up to release her debut album titled “Sunset and Paragraphs” .

Ifé has released over eleven (11) records, including a body of work which she titled “DarkLight”. An Extended Play that is considered to be revolutionary and inspirational.

She has worked with notable acts in Nigeria and internationally. They include; Umu Obiligbo, Smarty from Burkina Faso, Ahec 3, Unchained XL From New Zealand, DJ Koffi from the United Kingdom and many others.
