Nigerian artist, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has called on the Federal Government to reopen the entertainment industry.

Falz made the call in a thread of tweets shortly after the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, announced August 29 as the reopening date for international flights.

Falz noted that the federal government have reopened restaurants, airlines, markets, places of worship and political rallies but have refused to allow the entertainment industry to function.

Like most public places, cinemas, bars, lounges, beaches and other recreational outlets were shut in March to curtail the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
