Wali, in an interview with Today FM’s Ifunanya Obeme-Ndukwe, accused the political elite in the state of creating scenarios where the youth are being used for political gains.
He noted that if the youths were gainfully employed, they will not be at the INEC office creating public nuisance for over a week.
Wali described the demonstration as a riot, and not a peaceful protest, noting that if the issues are not addressed in general and quickly, it will amount to a bigger problem.
Today FM reports that the protest is still ongoing at the State INEC office on the Port Harcourt/Aba express road.
